October Newsletter

Hello Everyone,

I hope everyone is doing well. We would like to thank everyone for their efforts in keeping their property cut and clean this summer. With fall and winter coming, we would like to ask everyone to remember to winterize their pipes. The burn pit is open every 3rd Saturday of every month. Please remember that the burn pit is for wood and leaves. We would appreciate it if you would haul off your furniture and mattresses.

Assessments

As we talked about at the annual meeting, the part time assessments were not correct the last time the association went up. The full-time landowners pay $80.00 for the first lot therefore part-time should be $40.00. The additional lot fee did not change ($10.00). This was assessed on the statements we mailed out in July. We still have landowners that are not paying the amount that was sent in their statements. Please take care of this before late fees occur.

Security

We have noticed and appreciated landowners giving a more proactive stance and calling law enforcement when needed. We talked with Capt. Whitmore of the Montgomery Sheriff Office at the October monthly meeting. We are trying to get non-landowners from wandering our roads. If you see something suspicious the direct line to the Sheriff Department is 334-832-1328. Also, all guests are supposed to be with the landowners at all times.
